​Ringo! Born Richard Starkey in 1940, Ringo Starr is one of the most influential drummers of all time. One of his great qualities... he composed unique, stylistic drum parts for the Beatles songs and you can distinctly hear Ringo when you listen to a Ringo drum part, even without the rest of the music... and still identify the song!!!!

What an amazing influence to so many drummers today. 79 years old and still touring! Did you know that Ringo was the first to place drums on high risers to get more visibility  for the drummer rather than hiding behind the band??
